Mary Claire Mulligan

Mary Claire Mulligan has been at the vanguard of Colorado criminal defense for over 30 years. She was most recently recognized as the 2024 recipient of the Jonathan Olom Award, annually presented by the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar to an outstanding attorney in the criminal defense community for services rendered to the criminally accused without regard for personal gain.

Mary Claire has represented over 3000 clients in every type of criminal case, from traffic to first-degree murder, in state and federal court, from before charging through post-conviction. She is a veteran trial lawyer who has taught and lectured other lawyers over 40 times and has appeared on local television and radio. Mary Claire also testifies as an expert in the defense of criminal cases in Colorado.
